Granite
Granite is the most abundant rock in the crust of the earth. It is visibly crystalline, coarse-grained igneous rock, often resulting from the slow cooling and solidification of magma, or liquid rock. The essential minerals in granite are feldspar and quartz. Because of granite’s abundance in the earth’s crust, no continent is without extensive exposure to it.
Due to the fact that granite is considered a very hardy material, it is most often used as worktops in your kitchen.
Cleaning is easy, just use soap and water, remember never to use ammonia based cleaning products as this will lessen the shine of the granite over time.
