If you have invested in a granite countertop, you will want to maintain its natural beauty for as long as possible.
Granite provides beauty, warmth, and an enduring appearance to any kitchen. It is continuously firm and has a very deep grain, making it stain- and scratch-resistant.

How do you care for your new granite kitchen countertops after they have been installed?
Periodically wipe off your granite countertops with a moist cloth, removing any extra water and soap residue (granite is not difficult to clean – mild soap and water usually does the job).
With laminate kitchen worktops, you should never use abrasive cleaning tools (metal scouring pads and scouring detergents). Also, avoid using alkaline and chlorine-based cleansers, as well as bleach.
The drying process is the key to cleaning granite; you must handle your granite countertop with the same care you would a glass surface.
Avoid exposing your new countertops to extreme heat; use a trivet or mat when removing hot pots from a stove.
Avoid scratching your new granite kitchen countertops by placing rough or abrasive things on them.
Spillages of oven cleansers, juices, wine, oil, acidic liquids (vinegar, lemon juice), paint removers, and nail varnish removers may damage granite countertops.
Spills of foods and beverages that might produce stains, such as curry, saffron, beetroot, red wine, and blackcurrant, should be wiped up quickly.
All of our granite worktops are sealed to offer a protective layer; this prevents liquids from permeating the granite, so you don't need to seal your kitchen worktops.
Standing on a countertop or applying excessive force might cause it to break, particularly in unsupported places.
While chopping food, cutting boards or a butcher's block are advised. If you disregard this advise, you risk ruining your kitchen work surface and knives.
